Press Release for World Voice Connected Communities

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Linking Readers and Writers through Shared Experiences

Santiago, Inc. Publishing presents its latest book in the World Voice series: “Connected Communities”

(Westerly, RI, February 2009) – With his third book in the World Voice series (World Voice: Connected Communities) Joseph Santiago has created a setting where the reader will be inspired to reflect on what connects various peoples of the world.

In Joseph’s own words, Too often, people today are depicted simply as economic trends and statistics. People are far more complex than numbers and there are times when we all feel that no one is listening to us, and no one understands us. In sharing the sorrowful joy and the joyful sorrow of our lives as engaged people we begin to see ourselves in the lives of one another.”

World Voice: Connected Communities is a cultural exchange where writers from around the globe share their lives, passions, poetry, stories, spiritual pilgrimages, and their own humanity, while becoming part of the historical record of a burgeoning global society. The World Voice book series has the goal of fostering communication and commonality of all people across borders. This compelling collection of work illustrates the commitment and spirit of collaboration that can bring individuals together to improve the quality of one life at a time with the intention to touch the whole world.

World Voice: Connected Communities began as an independent thanatology study in China and it quickly grew from the life that its many authors have breathed into it.  Thanatology is the study of how we deal with loss in our lives and how we refocus back on what matters to us in life.  One unique element to World Voice: Connected Communities is that it invites readers to become writers by responding to what moves them and thereby continuing an honest global conversation that has a shot at being published and includes the entire world.

We at Santiago Inc. invite you to share your voice and leave your mark by submitting your piece for the next volume. “We are a community within your community.  In sharing what truly matters to you, you will learn that you are not alone.” See contact information below.
